A Fresh Start From the Ashes

The story opens with a dramatic death in a desolate apocalyptic world overrun with constant danger. Right before perishing alongside a brutal zombie emperor, young Zhi Jun decisively shouts a harsh farewell to his partner. However, fate does not end there, as his soul is unexpectedly reincarnated into a completely new body in another world.

To his shock, he discovers he has been reincarnated as an adorable little lion right in the middle of a vast futuristic imperial palace. Going abruptly from a seasoned apocalypse fighter to a tiny pet leads to plenty of hilarious situations. His journey of adapting to this new body begins with a series of delightful everyday experiences.

A Fateful Reunion

The biggest surprise for Zhi Jun is reuniting with his ex-lover, Gu Yanzheng, in this strange futuristic world. His former partner is now an imposing, cold major general possessing formidable military power in the empire. His presence becomes a reliable anchor that brings warmth to the little lion's challenging new life.

Gu Yanzheng possesses a special plant ability, standing as solid and powerful as a giant ginkgo tree. Although he does not realize the little lion is his former partner from the apocalypse, his deep instincts constantly drive him to protect the cub. His unconditional protection and pampering create a safe haven for Zhi Jun.

A Well-Crafted Power System

The author clearly put thought into building a logical, fresh, and well-developed power system for this sci-fi setting. Zhi Jun retains his specialized beast transformation ability while remaining highly adept at utilizing his innate metal ability. This combination ensures the little lion is not only cute, but also holds impressive combat strength.

This world operates around a unique energy core mechanism alongside powerful energy stones. The emergence of a specialized profession, the Beast Imprinter, who engraves runes onto beast cards, adds a distinct flavor to the setting. These details elevate the world-building well beyond standard sci-fi tropes.
