Kono Monogatari o Kimi ni Sasagu
Some wounds do not scar the physical body but quietly gnaw at a writer's mind. High school student Hiiragi Yuto once shone brilliantly as a prodigal novelist, but he chose to abandon his writing, seeking solace in a countryside high school.
His daily lethargy is no simple laziness; it is a sturdy armor built to conceal his celebrated past and the haunting memories he desperately longs to forget.
An Intrusion Upon the Quiet
That silence is abruptly shattered when Natsume Kotoha enters his life. A self-proclaimed school editor, she brings with her an obstinate persistence and a relentless pursuit.
Though met with icy rejections, she refuses to yield. Her relentless pursuit, coupled with a sudden call from a publisher, stirs the very memories he sought to bury. Yet, beneath her vibrant enthusiasm lies a profound secret yet to be revealed.
The Restless Rhythm of the Soul
The narrative flows with a slow, contemplative rhythm, focusing deeply on the complex psychological development of its characters. Spanning a concise 32 chapters, the story delves into the fine line between passion and the crushing weight of expectation.
The relationship between the two leads unfolds organically through their conversations. The contrast between the former writer's lethargy and the girl's determination generates a genuine, introspective allure.
A Stirring Undertone

The Cost of Brevity
- Due to the relatively short length, certain aspects of his glorious past remain somewhat underdeveloped.
