A Mage Like No Other

Forget those grumpy, evil, and perpetually lonely dark mages you've seen a thousand times, folks! Dive into this story, and you'll meet Burris—an absolutely adorable necromancer who might be a bit of a mess in his daily life, but is incredibly warm-hearted.

This guy has his fair share of hilarious personal baggage, but he never slacks off when it comes to taking care of his family. Seeing a man carry the weight of an entire household with such melting devotion is easily the biggest highlight that will make you fall in love with him.

His past is tied to a sacred oath made on a desolate, bone-chilling ice field. At that thin line where death meets the white snow, a fateful burden was etched into his soul—one he vowed to carry for a lifetime.

Breaking an Ancient Curse

Our mage's true mettle is tested when he decides to break the seals of the ancient gods. This is a massive, seemingly impossible task for any mere mortal in this fantasy world.

His goal? To rescue the Skeleton King, who has been wasting away in the gloomy depths of the Dead Swamp. That spine-chilling land of death is the ultimate challenge, where his unwavering will is forged through every hardship.

The journey to bring the poor king back to the human world is crafted by Matthia with solid logic and a gripping narrative. You'll find yourself marveling at the smart strategies and extraordinary courage of this talented spellcaster.

A Sweet Reward

Karma is a real thing, guys! Burris's persistence pays off with a miraculous return to his youth. And that's not all—fate throws in a sweet surprise that's so tooth-achingly cute you'll be green with envy.

It is a truly unique romance that transcends typical supernatural boundaries. Our protagonist has fallen in love with a powerful, high-ranking undead demigod and a mysterious infernal being.

This unique love triangle never feels forced; instead, it's incredibly sweet and subtle. The blend of cold dark power and sincere affection creates some seriously explosive chemistry.

Why It’s Worth Your Time

• The character design for Burris is a breath of fresh air for the necromancer subgenre.
• A vivid Western Fantasy world brought to life through mystical locations like the Dead Swamp.
• A supernatural romance that develops naturally and delicately, giving readers genuine emotions.
• A perfect balance between high-stakes fantasy adventure and warm everyday moments with the main character’s family.

Minor Drawbacks

• The pacing in the middle, specifically during the unsealing of the ancient seals, feels a bit slow and drawn out.
• Side characters outside the family haven't been explored deeply enough to create major subplots.
• Readers looking for non-stop, epic magical battles might find the pacing a little underwhelming.
