A Dramatic Awakening

The story kicks off by throwing us into a world where the entire social hierarchy revolves around awakened powers. Our protagonist, Kiryuu Masato, lives in Argus city and is constantly plagued by anxiety because he has yet to unlock his own Factor.

Everything changes in a flash right after school when he's suddenly ambushed by two deadly female assassins. In a classic do-or-die moment, his latent abilities explode to life, allowing him to turn the tables in spectacular fashion.

Unveiling the Factor Magic System

The power he awakens is no run-of-the-mill ability; it's the incredibly rare, high-tier King Factor. Specifically, he commands the Vanquish Factor—a force that poses a direct threat to the global balance of power.

This power allows him to manifest the Aggressor's Chains to subjugate his enemies. As a result, the two female assassins, Airi and Lizette, are turned into his slaves, forced to obey him and ultimately becoming Kiryuu Masato's close companions.

Dragged into the War of Kings

The emergence of a new Vanquisher shatters the fragile peace. He is quickly dragged into the War of Kings, a brutal arena where individuals with ultimate power clash for absolute dominance.

The plot moves at a breakneck pace as our lead must master his newfound abilities on the fly while surviving relentless threats. This clash of royalty forces him into non-stop battles to protect both himself and those by his side.

Why You'll Love It

• The power awakening moments are incredibly fast-paced, hooking you right from the opening chapters.
• The Factor power system is cleanly structured, with the introduction of the mighty King Factor adding immense stakes.
• The supporting cast of Airi and Lizette brings an entertaining, accidental harem dynamic to the table.
• The sheer scale of the battles hints at massive potential for epic clashes as the War of Kings unfolds.

A Few Nitpicks

• The concept of forcing enemies to become his slaves might feel a bit forced or controversial for some readers.
• The story progresses quite rapidly, leaving little breathing room to deeply explore the characters' psychological depth.
• The protagonist's early motivations are largely reactive, as he is constantly swept away by the chaotic events happening around him.
