Vibrant Dreams and Dull Reality

Have you ever wished you could have total control over your nighttime dreams? For the high schooler Jiro, that is not just a wild fantasy but a real dream manipulation ability.

Every single night, Jiro slips into a dreamscape to freely indulge his personal desires, escaping from a frustrating real life. But can this fake peace in dreamland really last forever?

Warnings from a Distorted Reality

Everything completely shatters when someone claiming to be a doctor of the world suddenly breaks into Jiro's dream realm. This person throws cold water on him by declaring that he himself is an illness eating away at the world.

Right after that bizarre diagnosis, the uninvited guest drops a totally unexpected proposal: would he like to have a girlfriend? What seemed like sheer nonsense in a dream instantly turns into a nightmare crashing into reality.

A Bizarre Real-Life Meeting

What would you do if your dream lover stepped right in front of you in broad daylight? Jiro is thrown into total confusion when he runs into a gorgeous and energetic girl named Tenjin Yumiri.

Tenjin Yumiri abruptly transfers to Jiro's school, claims to be a doctor of the world, and boldly announces she is his girlfriend. This bizarre and terrible encounter drags them both into an unexpected fate, kicking off a dark romantic comedy.

Reader Perspectives

• Fans of romantic comedy blended with supernatural elements will probably get a huge kick out of the blurred lines between dreams and reality.
• Readers hoping for a sweet and fluffy school romance might feel let down by the gloomy atmosphere and the secrets behind the title doctor of the world.
• Those who love deep character psychology will find themselves sympathizing with Jiro, a guy fed up with reality who suddenly has to shoulder a massive burden.

Standout Strengths

• A brilliant concept pairing personal dream manipulation with the threat of global doom.
• A striking character dynamic contrasting the cynical Jiro with the bright, energetic Tenjin Yumiri.
• A brisk pacing fueled by ongoing mysteries surrounding the world's illness.
• A smooth blend of quirky comedy and a suffocatingly dark mood.

Current Flaws

• The opening might throw some readers off because the premise drops in so fast.
• The male lead Jiro's mindset in the early chapters can feel a bit negative and hard to root for.
• The supernatural elements are not explained in detail right away, requiring some patience.

Final Thoughts on the Dream Journey

Are you ready to step into a world where last night's dreams could mess up your tomorrow? This story definitely brings a breath of fresh air for anyone worn out by typical school romance tropes.

Bottom line: This is a delightfully dark romantic comedy where the meeting between Jiro and Tenjin Yumiri will have you questioning where dreams end and reality begins.
