The Rise of an Outcast Legend

If you think getting dumped by your crush or failing an exam is the ultimate tragedy, take a look at Chu Feng. This poor chap was branded as absolute trash by his entire clan simply because he didn't possess even a single drop of bloodline power.

Instead of lying down and accepting his miserable fate, Chu Feng chose to enroll in the Azure Dragon School. Now, this was merely a second-rate sect in the lower realm—the kind of place real geniuses wouldn't even deign to glance at.

However, life loves throwing plot twists that knock us flat on our backs. One fine day, he accidentally awakened the mysterious Nine Color Divine Lightning Beasts slumbering inside his body, officially marking the rise of an absolute monster.

The Quest for Justice and Origins

Chu Feng treads the path of cultivation not just to flex his muscles, but for far loftier goals. He wants to show those who once spat on him exactly how massively they messed up by looking down on a future Asura.

On top of that, finding and rescuing his mother, Mrs. Jie Ranqing, is the ultimate engine driving him forward. Nestled deep inside his dantian is a highly mysterious sealed egg, which holds the crucial keys to his true origin.

Though raised by his adoptive father Chu Yuan since childhood, the massive shadow of his biological father, Chu Xuanyuan, constantly urges him to explore the world. He fights to protect his loved ones while serving cold-blooded revenge to those who dared harm his family.

A Massive and Satisfying Progression System

The xuanhuan world in this novel is built with an incredibly detailed realm system, making it easy for readers to track the power scaling. It all kicks off with the Spirit Realm, where newbies get acquainted with the absolute basics of martial arts.

Next up are the Origin Realm and Profound Realm, where power levels take massive qualitative leaps. By the time they reach the Heaven Realm, experts can tread the air and fly, completely detaching themselves from mere mortals.

Further down the road, stages like the Martial Lord Realm and Martial King Realm showcase the absolute dominance of the strong. The true peaks lie at the Martial Emperor Realm, where power can literally shake heaven and earth, and the god-like Martial Ancestor Realm.

A Protagonist Packed with Talent and Grit

Chu Feng is far from just a lucky fellow; he possesses qualities that make everyone green with envy. He carries the Heavenly Bloodline, also known as the Heavenly Lightning Bloodline, boasting unparalleled destructive power.

And the cheat codes don't stop there—he also owns the unique Four Symbols Divine Body, making his physical form tougher and more durable than anyone else. His personality is a spicy blend of optimism, resilience, and just the right amount of ruthlessness needed to survive.

His versatility shines through his powerful title as a World Spiritist, courtesy of his World Spiritist Bloodline. His ability to communicate with and summon World Spirits from other dimensions serves as the ultimate trump card to turn the tables in tight spots.

Beautiful Maidens and Loyal Spirits

Chu Feng's life is far from lonely, as he is always flanked by gorgeous and talented beauties. Girls like Zi Linh, Su Rou, and Su Mei are not just his love interests, but also his most vital emotional anchors.

In addition, a massive squad of World Spirits is always ready to go through fire and water with him in every brutal battle. Most notable is Eggy, also known as Her Lady Queen, who has stood by his side since his grittiest early days.

Furthermore, names like Xue Ji, Yu Sha, Kui Ting, and Yun Liang add plenty of flavor to the supporting cast. Each possesses a unique background and strength, helping our guy conquer new heights in the martial world.

Why It Hooks Readers

• An incredibly clear and logical cultivation system that makes leveling up feel immensely satisfying.
• Fast-paced storytelling packed with brutal face-slapping moments that keep you turning pages late into the night.
• A decisive protagonist in Chu Feng who holds grudges and pays them back in full, sparing us the frustration of a naive, saint-like hero.
• A massive world featuring an endless series of maps, each with its own secrets and challenges waiting to be uncovered.

Drawbacks to Note

• An intimidating length of nearly 7,000 chapters is a real endurance test for any reader, requiring massive patience.
• The plot formula can get repetitive: new map, get looked down upon, show off, rinse and repeat.
• An overcrowded cast of supporting characters means some are criminally sidelined or forgotten over time.
• The descriptions of the protagonist's sheer badassery can sometimes go a bit overboard, slightly denting the world's immersion.
