Worldbuilding and Gender Dynamics

The novel constructs a futuristic sci-fi setting where society operates strictly based on the biological mechanisms of the ABO system. Here, the hierarchy among genders is determined not just by physical strength but also by the influence of pheromones.

The protagonist Lucas represents the pinnacle of this system as a powerful SSS-rank Alpha. Bearing the title of War God of the empire, he possesses extreme roughness and dominant instincts, projecting an invisible pressure onto anyone around him.

Conversely, Luo Ran chooses to conceal his Omega identity to survive under the guise of an ordinary Beta. The premise of a conventionally weaker gender disguising themselves to work in a harsh military environment creates a fascinating logical foundation for upcoming conflicts.

Contrast Between the Tyrant and the Omnipotent secretary

Lucas is a belligerent admiral prone to sudden bouts of temper, holding a particular aversion to recessive genders. He carries a distinctive tobacco scent pheromone, a scent full of threat yet intensely masculine.

Meanwhile, Luo Ran is a flawless secretary, the only one capable of reining in Lucas's fury. Not only academically gifted, but he also excels in combat skills, sporting a gentle and elegant exterior that conceals remarkable inner resilience.

The irony lies in the fact that this admiral despises weakness yet is exceptionally fond of the secretary he believes to be a Beta. This absolute trust inadvertently becomes the sturdiest shield protecting Luo Ran's true identity.

The Knot of Fateful Night and the Manhunt

The plot turns dramatic after a night of heavy drinking leaves Lucas sharing a one-night stand with a mysterious Omega. Instead of standard romantic feelings, the admiral feels deeply insulted and mobilizes the military to track down the other party with the intention of "killing" them.

Luo Ran is that very lover from the night, and he is forced to use all his professional competence to track down... none other than himself to erase all traces. This hilarious yet stressful situation creates an atmosphere where the culprit and the investigator are actually the same person.

The complexity escalates when Luo Ran accidentally goes into heat right in front of Lucas. At this moment, the sweet fragrance from his body matches the memories of that fateful night, causing all masks to begin cracking.

Supporting Cast and Social Interactions

Alongside the main couple, the story features Zhou Mingkai, Lucas's close friend who acts as a witness to comical situations. His appearance helps soften the admiral's thorny exterior and brings plenty of laughter to readers.

Luo Ran's family also serves as a warm touch, as he was raised by deeply loving adoptive parents. Despite not being biological child, this family affection has cultivated a kind and elegant soul for an Omega forced to live in concealment.

Additionally, subordinates like Wang Qiuyang, Lu Cheng, and Third Prince Lu Bei enrich military life. Each character holds a distinct position, providing vital support for the administrative and military duties of the main duo.
