An Unconventional Beginning

The story opens with an impressive reversal. The protagonist, Ansu Morningstar, is reincarnated into the fantasy game world of Nether right at the moment of being sacrificed. Instead of panicking, he uses the mindset of an unorthodox player to alter the ritual.

The successful reversal allows him to save himself and a Saintess named Luojia. His heaven-defying journey as a "cursed child" begins here. This opening immediately captivates readers with its boldness and unconventionality.

Unique Setup

The world operates around a system of belief and Divine Power, rife with sectarian conflicts. The contrast between the orthodox Church, various heresy organizations, and the Evil God paints a picture full of peril. Meanwhile, the protagonist possesses innate dark energy.

How he reconciles dark energy and light to rise to the position of the youngest Pope is the highlight. The author cleverly designs system loopholes for the character to exploit. This rule-breaking mindset offers a delightful and refreshing experience.

Character Depiction

Ansu is not your traditional savior hero. He is intelligent and cunning, behaving shamelessly yet remaining remarkably calm. Hailing from the wealthy Morningstar family, he leverages every resource for his personal goals.

The companionship of Luojia along with friends like Enya, Arthur Sunny, and Lister Moon enhances the dynamic. Though somewhat reckless in his actions, he still possesses unique perspectives on the world. His true strength lies in turning the impossible into the obvious.

Key Strengths

• A highly innovative plot that departs from any clichéd formulas of the fantasy genre.
• The fast-paced narrative seamlessly blends humorous situations with dramatic battles of wits.
• The gentle romance between the male lead and Luojia is naturally portrayed, creating a warm highlight.
• The unorthodox power system is logically explained through the operating mechanism of the Nether game.

Notable Drawbacks

• The protagonist's shameless behavior may occasionally alienate readers who prefer righteous characters.
• Certain conflict resolutions rely too heavily on exploiting game glitches, reducing the sense of real challenge.
• Supporting characters like Arthur Sunny and Lister Moon are sometimes left underdeveloped.
