Shocking Royal matchmaking Session

If you think royal matchmaking dates are all about elegant, high-class ladies, this story will slap you right back to reality. It kicks off with the Young Emperor, a guy with top-tier visuals boasting black hair, dark eyes, and tons of wild charm. But life isn't a dream—even as the ruler of a nation, he can't escape being constantly forced into finding a wife.

The Young Emperor's sheer exhaustion peaks as he faces countless dull encounters. His open-mindedness is truly put to the test when he steps into this fateful matchmaking session. Instead of a stunning beauty, waiting for him at the table is literally a... mackerel.

The main character's total shock mirrors the exact reader reaction to this hilariously absurd scenario. The author nailed it with a premise that's both completely ridiculous and insanely intriguing. You won't be able to hold back your laughter seeing a grand, majestic emperor completely freeze up before such a bizarre marriage candidate.

The Unique mackerel princess

The real highlight driving this story's appeal is the Mackerel Princess. At first, she pops up looking just like an ordinary sea creature, leaving everyone questioning reality. But don't let looks fool you, because she's actually a princess from an underwater mermaid kingdom.

The Mackerel Princess has a distinctly tomboyish personality—bold yet delightfully clumsy and cute. She occasionally exhibits extreme bashfulness, creating a fun contrast with her sea creature appearance. Revealing her true identity doesn't just resolve the male lead's confusion; it unlocks a super sweet romantic progression.

The author deftly weaves in details showing the inner growth of this "mackerel" girl. Moving past her quirky exterior, she gradually reveals her inner beauty and sincerity. Overcoming prejudice regarding physical appearance is precisely what moves their relationship from initial shock to a deep, genuine connection.

The emperor and Emotional Shift

The Young Emperor isn't just eye candy; his character growth is seriously impressive. Initially, he comes off as someone who absolutely loathes matchmaking, constantly looking for ways to dodge arranged dates. His slightly carefree attitude gives off a unique charisma, giving total modern romance male lead vibes.

However, facing the Mackerel Princess, his mental flexibility truly shines. Instead of pushing her away or discriminating, he chooses to get to know her and is slowly won over by her unique charm. The transition from astonishment to acceptance and then love is written super smoothly, despite the story's ultra-short length.

This relationship proves love knows no bounds, even if your partner happens to be a sea creature. The way he protects and cherishes the princess highlights a tender side hidden behind his wild exterior. This emotional high point keeps readers completely hooked on every page.

The Mastermind Prime Minister

We can't forget the Prime Minister, a side character who acts as the ultimate mastermind behind this whole setup. With long silver hair and a signature monocle, he sports the look of someone who is cunning yet honest. It was his bold setup that threw his ruler right into one of the most awkward situations in history.

The Prime Minister acts as a crucial bridge—someone who understands both sides and dares to pull off unexpected plans. His sly personality delivers plenty of laughs and lighthearted moments. Honestly, without this prime minister, we wouldn't have gotten such a delightfully weird royal romance.

His loyalty isn't expressed through empty praise, but through genuine care for the Young Emperor's true happiness. The author crafted this character as a funny yet deep addition to the story. He stands for a multi-dimensional and flexible perspective when evaluating people and situations.
