The Plot Twist From a Forced Declaration

What would you do if you woke up inside a Mary Sue novel? Xu Chenghao starts out as a pragmatic CEO, but he unfortunately gets cast as a destined tragic and disabled spare tire of a side character.

To save his own skin and stay far away from the heroine, he makes a bold move: he publicly announces that he only likes men. But in a hilarious twist, this masterstroke completely backfires on him.

Instead of scaring people off, that declaration accidentally catches the eye of both the male lead and the villain Jing Yicheng. Just like that, our disposable extra is suddenly thrust right into the spotlight of a battle for affection between two powerful guys.

Finding Peace Amidst the Chaos

What makes Xu Chenghao so charming is his calm and practical vibe. Even when he gets dragged into a mountain of trouble, he keeps his sense of humor intact and finds his joy in farming.

He is always joined by his loyal friend and assistant. This side character acts as a witty relationship advisor, helping out with work while dropping brutally honest reality checks to keep him grounded.

The story handles misunderstandings surprisingly well. The mix of corporate life and a love for gardening creates a cozy atmosphere that takes the edge off any unnecessary stress.

Unique Character Dynamics

The chemistry between Xu Chenghao and the villain Jing Yicheng is super unique. Even though Jing Yicheng leans toward yandere impulses, he still respects the clear boundaries that the protagonist sets down.

Xu Chenghao's firmness helps their relationship grow in a healthy direction. He never gets blindly swept up in his emotions, always keeping the upper hand.

The way these two male leads balance each other out makes their interactions super lively. You can actually feel a warm fuzziness building up chapter by chapter.
