When Someone from Earth Turns into a Plant

Transmigration into a cultivation world is already hard enough, but turning into a completely stationary tree is just a cruel joke! Our main character, Chen Xuan, initially falls into absolute panic when he realizes he has lost his human body from Earth.

In a dog-eat-dog cultivation environment, surviving as a tree rooted in the ground requires lightning-fast adaptation. The blend of pragmatic thinking and a comical personality makes this survival journey incredibly unique and fun to read.

The Hilariously Absurd Mechanism to evolve

Our protagonist's sole reliance is a special system to cultivate specifically designed for plants. Thanks to this cheat tool, Chen Xuan can continuously absorb the essence of heaven and earth to cultivate and evolve into higher lifeform classes.

However, if he wants to level up in peace and escape being one of those ordinary plants, the absolute top priority is protecting his tree roots from external damage. His frantic struggles to deal with the outside world spark a constant stream of deeply humorous, facepalming moments.

The Highlights We Love

• The fresh concept of the protagonist undergoing rebirth as a tree brings a fantastic breath of fresh air to the cultivation genre.
• Chen Xuan's personality is incredibly resilient, clever, and extremely pragmatic in every crisis.
• The pace is delightfully humorous, and the way a tree with a system defends itself is handled very naturally.
• The step-by-step journey to evolve successfully hooks the reader, keeping us genuinely curious.

A Few Minor Gripes

• At 1,109 chapters, the story's pacing occasionally feels repetitive with some recycled conflict tropes.
• Being locked into the perspective of a stationary tree can make some survival segments feel a bit rigid.
• The comedic moments are sometimes piled on too quickly, which takes away from the needed dramatic tension.
