A Whimsical Palace Veil

A sudden bump on the head accidentally pulls back the curtain on the bizarre reality surrounding Emperor Jingren. Our normally rational and clear-minded ruler begins to notice that his majestic court has transformed into a strangely theatrical stage.

The usual royal decorum vanishes as everyone around him starts acting in the most inexplicable ways. Within the once-solemn palace walls, a delightfully humorous chaos begins to unfurl before his eyes.

His initial confusion soon gives way to deep doubts about the very nature of his reality. He starts watching closely, studying every subtle shift in the words and gestures of those closest to him.

A Peculiar Harem

These oddities are no mere illusions; they manifest vividly in the people closest to him. The once-graceful mother of the nation, the Empress, suddenly boasts a towering, remarkably muscular physique that defies all royal standards.

Deep within the inner palace, his most favored concubine spends her days tirelessly performing dances that look suspiciously like morning calisthenics. Meanwhile, his loyal Imperial Guard Commander constantly tries to sneak onto the dragon bed for some "heart-to-heart" chats.

Even the imperial younger brother, once fueled by a fierce ambition to seize the throne, has abandoned his political schemes just to cling to his side. Beset by this relentless barrage of bizarre advances, Emperor Jingren is left caught in a hilarious state of bewilderment.

The Awakening of an NPC

His quest for the truth takes a breathtakingly meta turn when he realizes he is merely an NPC in a virtual reality world. The courtiers and consorts vying for his attention are actually players on a mission to seduce him to win the game.

The thousand-year history of the empire that Emperor Jingren took such pride in turns out to be nothing but a few lines of flavor text. He must navigate a maze of palace intrigue and war to carve out a genuine sense of existence.

The romance blossoming between an NPC and the players weaves a bittersweet melody. He is forced to confront the truth that his beloved Empress is actually a male player from another world.

A Love That Bridges Worlds

Amidst destiny’s whimsical tricks, the bond that grows between Emperor Jingren and his Empress feels incredibly tender and serene. Even knowing his partner is a male players from another reality, the emperor embraces him with boundless warmth and acceptance.

This genuine devotion blurs the line between a digital NPC and a flesh-and-blood human. Every fleeting moment they share amidst the turbulent palace leaves a tender lingering taste that is deeply moving.
