Back into the Life-and-Death Void

The nightmare world known as the Pure White Realm is basically every player's worst nightmare. It’s governed by brutal survival rules and a non-stop series of heart-pounding trials.

Eight years ago, Cui Zuojing cleared the final level set by the Queen to escape. But freedom came with a price: his time was frozen forever at the age of sixteen.

After heading home to say goodbye to his parents and sister, he decides to sneak back into that void. Posing as a rookie prisoner, he begins a journey to face his past head-on.

The Teenager Who’s Actually a Legend

The best part has to be the gap between Cui Zuojing's looks and his actual skills. He looks like a typical teen, but he’s actually a powerful legend from the past.

He knows the inner workings of this place inside out and is on a first-name basis with almost all the bosses. His mere presence has hordes of monsters shaking in their boots and running for cover.

Joining him are a newbie player Dong Zheng and his brother Dong Linhai. They end up teaming up and gradually unpeeling the dark secrets hidden behind this world.

A Surreal World of Puzzles

The author crafts the infinite flow world with such smooth, vivid detail. The game stages, known as boxes, are brilliantly designed with plenty of dark twists.

Drawing vibes from mythology, the SCP Foundation, and even Bible imagery, the atmosphere is incredibly eerie. Each of the boxes is packed with lethal traps at every turn.

Surviving these trials takes some serious teamwork. The pacing stays intense as the characters are constantly forced into make-or-break survival choices.

Subtle and Sweet Romance

The bond between Cui Zuojing and Dong Zheng feels totally organic. At first, Dong Zheng doesn't see him as anything special—just another newbie.

After several close calls where they save each other’s skins, Dong Zheng starts realizing his partner isn't what he seems. Their trust builds up slowly but surely.

Things really start heating up after chapter 100. It’s a connection built on equality and mutual respect between two absolute powerhouses.
