Virtual Marriage Steps Into the Real World

The story kicks off with Kasugai Yuu, a 16-year-old high schooler living independently on his own. In the virtual world of the VRMMO game CtG (short for Cradle to the Glaive), he marries a girl named Mifa, and together they welcome their digital daughter, Haruha, into the world.

Things take an absolute wildcard of a turn when Haruha, alongside Mifa's real-life counterpart Kugimiya Miharu, suddenly show up in the real world. The two move in with Kasugai Yuu, instantly turning his quiet daily routine into a chaotic whirlwind of hilarious and awkward situations.

A Parenting Mission and World-Altering Secrets

Far from being just some ordinary virtual child, Haruha is actually a secretly engineered new human who holds the ultimate fate of humanity in her hands. Suddenly, the weight of the world is thrust upon the shoulders of these two young parents, making their responsibility heavier than ever.

Kasugai Yuu and Kugimiya Miharu must find a way to care for their daughter in the real world and the virtual realm, while also confronting the secrets surrounding the fact that Kasugai Yuu's mother is the creator of CtG.

A Tangled Web of Supporting Characters

Their already complicated dynamic gets thrown into even more chaos when childhood friend Kodzuchi Fuyufu enters the picture. Her deep, unresolved feelings for Kasugai Yuu accidentally turn their cozy family setup into a messy love triangle.

The world expands even further with the involvement of Niiro Mansei, a mysterious man directly tied to Haruha's birth. On top of that, the charming older woman Hajime Hidari frequently drops by to dote on Kasugai Yuu, injecting plenty of unpredictable variables into the mix.
