An Ironic Beginning

After being swept into a mysterious transmigration, the protagonist wakes up in the body of a pitiful twelve-year-old child. Transitioning from a brilliant modern forensic science expert, he must adapt to rural life while posing as a fake monk. This opening phase offers a highly realistic and challenging start for the reader.

Later, he enters the world of high society as the long-lost son of the Marquis and the Marquis's wife. However, this shift in status brings no luxury, only troublesome physical constraints. To survive and uncover the truth, he is forced to make incredibly bold moves.

Forensic Practice

To overcome his plight, Zhuang Zhong decides to return to the profession he knew best in his past life. He expertly applies modern medical knowledge and autopsy skills within an ancient times setting. The author's detailed descriptions of the examinations create a unique professional appeal.

He does not merely inspect corpses; he leverages his skills to solve complex cases. Posing as the Marquis's son to investigate his friend's death is a highly risky and dramatic move. Every mysterious clue is meticulously unraveled through the lens of scientific logic.

A Pillar of Power and Romance

On his perilous path of solving crimes amidst court conspiracies, the protagonist meets and aligns with Feng Huan. Holding the noble status of Prince Si Zhao, this figure provides powerful support and protection. Their relationship grows far beyond mutual understanding, developing a deep romantic entanglement.

The dynamic between a rational forensic science expert and a powerful prince leads to highly engaging interactions. The Danmei romance is seamlessly woven in, never overshadowing the main detective plot. This is a major plus, allowing the story to maintain its necessary balance throughout the chapters.
