Assassin Reborn as a Playboy Young Master

If you are looking for a plot featuring "a gentle rabbit on the outside, a cunning wolf on the inside," then welcome to Jun Moxie's world. Formerly a renowned assassin king in the modern world, our guy accidentally gets isekai-ed after sacrificing himself to protect a mystical treasure.

Ironically, his soul ends up possessing the body of a notorious playboy young master in the Tianxiang Empire. Going from someone despised by society, he starts using his assassin skills to revive the Jun family and turn the world order completely upside down.

A Proud and Wicked Evil Monarch

Our protagonist is not your typical world-saving hero or a hypocritical saint preaching morals. Jun Moxie (also known as Jun Xie or Evil Monarch) is arrogant yet not prideful, with an extremely clear distinction between gratitude and grudges.

He possesses a deeply scheming mind, acting ruthless and decisive while showing supreme tactical brilliance when facing enemies. With support from the Exquisite Hongjun Pagoda and the Open Heaven Creation Divine Art, he steps his way up to the very pinnacle.

A Quality Roster of Soulmate heroine and Companions

Not only skilled in combat and scheming, our guy also boasts a ridiculously long list of heroines that will make male readers green with envy. Each young lady brings her own unique personality, weaving colorful strokes of romance right through fierce battles.

• Mai Xueyan: The muse standing at the absolute top of the Evil Monarch's heart.
• Han Yanmeng, Dugu Xiaoyi, Guan Qinghan.
• Miao Xiaomiao, Tian Xun, Yang Lingmeng.
• Qiao Ying, Ke Er.
• Tang Yuan: The plump Lord Tang, his close friend and the story's main comic relief.
• Li Yuran: From a sworn rival to a trusted grand steward at the Evil Monarch Manor.

Power Scaling from Bottom to Peak

This xuanhuan world builds a remarkably detailed power hierarchy, where experts must accumulate mystic force to level up. His journey begins from the most basic steps before finally touching the supreme realm.

• Ninth Grade Mystic Practitioner: Divided into 9 ranks, the starting point for all cultivators.
• Earth Mystic and Heaven Mystic: Major turning points in raw power.
• God Mystic, Supreme, Half-Saint.
• Saint, Saint Emperor, Saint Venerable.
• Saint King: The absolute peak realm that crowns him as the master of the otherworld.

Notable Pluses

• An extremely cool protagonist: Zero frustration, always delivering immensely satisfying face-slapping moments against enemies.
• Humorous elements: The banter between Jun Moxie and Tang Yuan acts as truly top-tier comic relief.
• Top-tier mind games: Not relying solely on brute fists, the political conspiracies in the Tianxiang Empire are rock-solidly written by the author.
• Fast-paced plot: Events unfold rapidly with very few filler chapters, making it hard for readers to put down.
• Grand setting: The combination of personal cultivation and building the Evil Monarch Manor faction is deeply engaging.

Drawbacks to Consider

• Overcrowded harem: Sometimes causes certain female supporting characters to fade into the background or lack screen time later on.
• Overpowered items: The magical pagoda occasionally acts like a "magic pouch," letting the protagonist breeze through troubles far too easily.
• Protagonist's personality: Those who prefer righteous heroes might find his somewhat extreme methods a bit hard to stomach.

Reader's Perspective

Readers who love smart protagonists who never take a loss will find this story immensely satisfying and entertaining. The author's witty writing style keeps a novel stretching over a thousand chapters utterly gripping until the very end.

However, for readers who are strict about romantic logic or dislike massive harem collections, the novel might occasionally feel exhausting. Still, this remains an absolute milestone in early-generation xianxia that any newcomer should definitely check out.

The journey of the legendary assassin turning into the most wicked king of the otherworld is an epic tale that is both grand and delightfully wacky. A wonderfully relaxing read for anyone passionate about cultivation level up and tactical mind games.
