The Charm of Perfect Contrast
"Very Happy" is a soothing melody, completely free of breath-taking power struggles or vicious schemes. The novel focuses on exploring the intersection between the two completely opposite worlds of the main couple.
The author cleverly places a sunshine-bright Li Zhao next to a gloomy Yan Ting. Their connection doesn't come from earth-shattering events but blossoms through every simple meal.
With a length of 116 chapters, this is a just-right choice for anyone wanting to find comfort after a long day. The warm feeling permeated in every single word makes you unable to stop smiling.
The Poor Actor with a Warm Heart
The character Li Zhao appears as a vibrant 20-year-old youth despite growing up from an orphanage. He isn't insecure about his background at all and always strives to make a living through acting work.
The most adorable point of Li Zhao is his extremely optimistic and practical attitude toward life. He always worries about his next meal and dedicates all his mind to caring for his loved ones.

The CEO in a Gray Cage
In complete contrast to his partner's positive energy, Yan Ting is a wealthy yet deeply pessimistic businessman. At the age of 28, he holds a massive fortune but finds life meaningless.
Yan Ting's world originally only had gloomy shades of color and lingering loneliness. He perceived everything through a gray lens until a ray of light named Li Zhao appeared.
Their relationship develops in a healing direction, where one person gives warmth and the other learns to accept. The way Yan Ting gradually opens up and cherishes life is a deeply emotional bright spot.
Fascinating Supporting Pieces
Besides the main couple, the supporting cast also brings many emotional levels to the story. Manager Zhang Xiaoyuan is not only a colleague but also a close older brother figure to Li Zhao.
Especially, the appearance of the mysterious demolition tycoon creates hilarious situations. The sincere friendship and protection this person gives to Li Zhao are truly worth cherishing.
Even an initial rival like the actor Song Yu has quite interesting psychological developments. These characters make the entertainment industry picture much more colorful and relatable.
