A Unique Non-Human Perspective

Have you ever wondered how an alien monster views human life? The story kicks off when a parasitic entity, after enduring immense suffering, accidentally takes over the body of a brain death boy named Yan Zhen.

To fulfill the final wish of the previous host, this otherworldly being sets out on a quest to learn how to be a model citizen. Can a total outsider really blend into a complex human society full of rigid rules?

By leveraging its parasitic ability and various special ability, the protagonist slowly explores the world. Its clumsy attempts to pass as human lead to laugh-out-loud moments that are surprisingly profound.

A Strangely Peaceful Daily Life

Aside from its undercover routine, Yan Zhen's life revolves around some pretty quirky companions. There is a cat known as Mr. Cat alongside a little chicken, making for a truly bizarre crew.

The plot skillfully weaves together cozy everyday moments and bizarre supernatural events in a modern city. Warm friendships with Luo Qingxi, Liu Xingquan, and Captain Ban blossom naturally along the way.

You will even find down-to-earth touches like a short side chapter exploring the marital life of the protagonist's parents. It all paints a vivid social picture through the lens of a calm and detached outsider.
