When Two Nemeses Share a Pregnancy

The plot kicks off with a crazy twist between two talented deputy department heads. Both Jiang Xu and Shen Fangyu work at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jihua Hospital, affiliated with A Medical University.

They've been at each other's throats since medical school all the way into their careers, competing over every exam score and lead surgeon slot. Things get even wilder when both pursue their female colleague Zhong Lan, only for her to suddenly come out with a girlfriend!

A night of drowning their sorrows in alcohol pushes these two rivals over the line. Three months later, our ice-cold doctor is utterly stunned to discover he's mpreg with his bitter enemy's baby! Spanning 97 chapters, it unleashes a hilarious rollercoaster of endless laugh-out-loud moments.

Two Completely Opposing Personalities

The author crafts two main leads with polar opposite personalities that complement each other brilliantly. Jiang Xu is a cold, serious straight-A student with severe mysophobia. Raised strictly by a teacher father and an office worker mother, he spends his off-duty hours indulging his passion for photography.

In stark contrast, Shen Fangyu is an outgoing, silver-tongued smooth talker who sings great and stays incredibly flexible. His family fell on hard times when his parents lost their jobs after breaking the family planning policy to have him as a second child, eventually moving from City A to City B to open a dry cleaner shop.

Sparks constantly fly between the rule-abiding stoic and the cheeky flirt, keeping every workday super lively. Caught right in the middle is Professor Cui, the department head who enthusiastically loves watching his two star pupils butt heads.

Medical Details and Tender Care

What makes this story stand out is how smoothly it weaves real medical knowledge into the mpreg trope. Working right in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology makes every medical checkup and health scene feel vivid and surprisingly realistic.

The physical and emotional changes of pregnancy are detailed grounded in reality rather than brushed over half-heartedly. From a sworn enemy, Shen Fangyu gradually steps up, learning how to take care of his partner and shoulder responsibility, guiding them straight into becoming genuine lovers.
