The Screen and Reality

The year 2020 ushered in a strange turning point when the virtual reality masterpiece known as World of All Beings suddenly emerged. Initially, the crowd of readers viewed this purely as an ordinary virtual reality immortality cultivation game on the internet. Yet, the truth behind the screen unfolded in a manner entirely beyond expectation.

The player community was shaken to discover that logging in required no internet connection whatsoever, proving that this world was indeed real. Every ounce of progress and accumulation within the game directly influenced the battle to protect Earth in reality. Humanity's destiny was now inextricably bound to the game.

Characters and Companions

The protagonist, Xiao Zhi, is an author and a veteran bookworm with over a decade of experience devouring web novels. His initial attitude was remarkably calm, carrying few illusory expectations when he first stepped into the game. Yet, he was soon deeply captivated by this world.

He displays a highly pragmatic, calm, and decisive personality whenever confronted with brutal survival scenarios. Beside Xiao Zhi are the siblings Yang Xu and Yang Xi, steadfast and reliable companions. Together, they forge a resilient, shoulder-to-shoulder alliance amidst the storm.

The Power System

The mechanics of this world revolve around competing to be the first person to reach each realm. These exclusive rewards are paramount, directly determining the long-term potential of each player in this protracted war.

The scale of power begins at the Post-Heaven stage, with segmented milestones such as the Post-Heaven Second Stage, Post-Heaven Sixth Stage, and Post-Heaven Ninth Stage. Only by breaking through the Post-Heaven Limit can a player open the gate to the higher Pre-Heaven realm.

• The genuine friendship between Xiao Zhi and the siblings, Yang Xu and Yang Xi, which provides a strong emotional anchor.
• A clear progression path through each realm from Post-Heaven to Pre-Heaven, offering satisfying motivation for leveling up.

Weaknesses to Note

• The pacing of power progression occasionally drags as the author indulges in overly detailed descriptions of the leveling process.
