An Unexpected Encounter

One day, the eccentric Amakawa Iroha decided to run away from home in a state of absolute panic. Luckily, life didn't push her into a dark alleyway; instead, she literally crashed into Inadzuki Misora—her super extroverted, radiant classmate who’s basically a walking battery of positive energy.

This warm hospitality wasn't exactly free, as Inadzuki Misora immediately dropped a total bombshell. She claimed they were deeply in love in their previous timeline. On top of that, she demanded that Amakawa Iroha find a way to jog those long-forgotten sweet memories back to life.

Timeline Mysteries

The story kicks off a cohabitation journey that's full of surprises, sweetness, and enough mystery to keep you hooked. Amakawa Iroha's initial skepticism starts to crumble under her roommate's genuine care. She begins to realize that her friend's little habits and words aren't just some baseless prank.

Instead of epic time-travel sequences, the work takes a subtle approach through vague echoes of the past. Every tiny daily interaction between the two girls carries the weight of a regretful, unfinished vow. This eerie yet beautiful spiritual connection is the red thread running through the entire series.

Opposites Attract

The main characters are built on a perfect synergy between two polar opposite personalities. Amakawa Iroha is a shy girl with the aura of a forgetful eccentric who keeps her heart locked tight. She feels incredibly grateful for the shelter provided by her kind classmate.

On the flip side, Inadzuki Misora is a gorgeous, radiant extrovert who always takes the lead. Her persistence and warmth have been chipping away at the protective ice surrounding her friend's wounded soul. The way they interact is just pure cuteness overload—so sweet it’ll give you cavities.

Major Highlights

The biggest selling point is how the author keeps the plot moving smoothly and naturally. Blending subtle supernatural elements into a school setting feels like a breath of fresh air. You'll find yourself easily sucked into the mysterious yet cozy daily life of these two.

The writing style of Inukai Anzu is punchy and easy to read, yet still overflowing with sincere emotion. Each chapter flows peacefully without any messy drama or tiring conflicts. It’s the perfect "mental comfort food" for a relaxing session.

• The concept of connecting through spiritual echoes from a past life is unique and fresh.
• The romance development is natural, heartwarming, and adorable.
• Supporting characters like Chise and Ayaka-chan bring the school atmosphere to life.
• With only 35 chapters, the length is perfect and the story does not drag.

Things to Keep in Mind

Despite its strengths, it’s hard to ignore a few minor depth issues. Because the story is relatively short, some aspects of the setting aren't fully fleshed out. This might leave readers who crave massive world-building feeling a bit let down.

Also, Amakawa Iroha's strained relationship with her parents is only briefly mentioned. It’s a bit hard to fully grasp the real reason behind her decision to run away from home. If the family conflict had more investment, it definitely would have added more punch to the story.

• The previous timeline logic isn't explained very clearly or scientifically.
• The pacing in the middle gets a bit flat, lacking a major "wow" moment.
• Some side characters don't get enough screen time to really show off their personalities.

Community Reception

Even though it's short, the series has caught the eye of the international community. The stats below prove the story's steady appeal. Fans of the "fluff" genre have been giving it some really positive feedback.
