Magic Meets school life
The story begins when the protagonist accidentally discovers the secret of his classmate, Shōgawa Maho. She is secretly the Radiant Magical Girl, fighting against an evil organization to protect the city.
Instead of staying on the sidelines, he resolves to become a support type character to stand by her side. The narrative thrives on the intersection of supernatural battles and ordinary school life.
Self-Improvement and Misunderstandings
Having once identified as a disgusting nerd, the protagonist actively works to improve his appearance and communication skills. Guidance from his friend Yuu-kun helps him close the distance with Shōgawa step by step.
However, his dense nature and the deep-seated belief that he could never get a girlfriend blind him to her growing affection. The narrative maintains a steady pace, fully leveraging comedic misunderstandings that are both amusing and endearing.
An Endearing Cast
Shōgawa Maho is portrayed as someone bearing a heavy burden, yet she retains the innocent shyness of a teenage girl around the protagonist. Their bond deepens through battlefield coordination and quiet, everyday conversations.
Alongside Yuu-kun, the character Moritsune serves as a reliable sounding board for romantic dilemmas. The inclusion of classmates and other female characters adds vibrant colors to the overall school picture.
The Positives
