The Nameless Soldier and a Second Chance

The plot follows John Serius, a mid-level soldier who sacrificed his life right after the Demon King was defeated. He is no legendary hero, just a humble soldier who fell in the brutal fight against the Demon Race.

An unexpected stroke of luck grants him reincarnation into the past inside the body of a newborn baby. Keeping every single ruthless memory from his past life intact, he vows to rewrite the upcoming tragic fate.

Systematic Training From Past Memories

Thanks to his survival experience in the war, he makes the most of his deep knowledge in both swordsmanship and magic to start training from a very young age. Without relying on any absurd cheat powers, his self-improvement progresses in an extremely methodical way.

Those tireless efforts soon bear fruit as he helps defend the royal capital, crushes enemy attacks, and rises to become the second-in-command of the army. Every single preparation is aimed at the decisive battle ahead.

Family Bonds and Loyal Companions

The surrounding cast of characters is built with genuine warmth. The deep understanding from his mother Emily and his father after he bravely confesses the truth creates a rock-solid emotional foundation.

Along his path of battle, he meets Nakoruru, a great mage holding a vital role in the kingdom, alongside his comrade Falena who always stands by his side. These relationships bring a much-needed balance to the storyline.

Notable Plus Points

• The Main character feels grounded, climbing up purely through genuine tactical skill and battlefield experience.
• Sincere family dynamics, and the scene where he confesses to his parents delivers plenty of emotional depth.
• The preparation phase for the war is thoroughly calculated and highly convincing.
• Supporting characters like Nakoruru and Falena all play distinct and meaningful roles.

Drawbacks to Consider

• The pacing in the early stages focuses heavily on accumulation, which might feel a bit slow at times.
• The buildup toward facing the enemy occasionally lacks shocking plot twists.
• The power system is not overly complex, making it less suitable for those who love detailed tiered levels.
