A Unique Twist on an Anomaly
Have you ever wondered what would happen if a harmless system bug suddenly gained consciousness and a fierce desire to live? This story sweeps us away on the journey of a very special entity born from the deepest void. Unlike what you might expect, she has zero interest in destroying the system—she simply wants to carve out a path to survive.
To pull this off, she must learn how to hide her true nature from the relentless sweeps of the supreme Heavenly Dao. Can a tiny, solitary anomaly safely travel across different worlds without getting caught? This challenging quick wear journey is the perfect, gripping answer to that question.
A Silent Guardian's Journey
Her mission to survive is closely tied to protecting each child of destiny in the worlds she visits. These characters are often burdened with heavy tribulations or have tragic fates due to world mutations. She needs to help them grow and overcome difficulties to stabilize the world and share their precious fortune.
Lending them a hand not only saves them but also helps her gather enough energy to stay hidden from the hunting forces. However, she often finds herself in hilarious, frustrating dilemmas because she isn't allowed to directly rescue the male lead. This strict limitation leads to all sorts of funny misunderstandings and chaotic situations!
Our Brilliant Heroine, Yuan Chu
The female lead, Yuan Chu, is definitely the absolute highlight that keeps you hooked from start to finish. In her past life, she was a brave military soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice when her beloved homeland was destroyed. Thanks to those battle-hardened experiences, she possesses an incredibly resilient will and unwavering mental strength.
She always maintains a surprising level of calm in tight spots, thanks to her sharp intuition. Her intelligence and hidden talents allow her to perfectly mask her identity as an anomaly right under the nose of the Heavenly Dao. You'll find it hard to look away from her silent but incredibly tense battles of wits!
Why You’ll Love This Book
- The unique concept of having a system bug with an independent mind as the female lead is incredibly fresh and engaging.
- The romance, which connects her across different worlds with the same single soul, brings a warm and consistent feel to the story.
- Our heroine's smart way of handling crises helps untangle plot knots naturally and satisfyingly.
- The ironic situations where she can't directly save the male lead make for some lighthearted, genuinely funny moments.
A Few Minor Criticisms
- The constant limitations on her saving the male lead can sometimes make the misunderstandings feel a bit repetitive over a few chapters.
- The pacing slows down a bit in some of the middle worlds because the author spends a lot of time focusing on the nurturing process.
- Some readers might wish for more direct, powerful confrontations instead of her always hiding her identity.
What Other Readers Say
- Novel Updates: 4.2/5.0 (46 votes, as of 10/04/2026)
International readers highly praise our strong-willed heroine and the gentle, comforting flow of the story. That said, some feel that the misunderstandings between the leads could have been resolved a bit more swiftly and decisively.
