The Journey to Re-court the CEO
When mentioning the amnesia trope, many people usually shy away from the agonizing heartbreak. Yet this complete 157-chapter work delivers an utterly adorable and hilarious journey of re-courting from scratch.
While Ye Shanshan was on a film set, he received the news that his lover and sponsor Gong Yue had suffered a car accident. Waking up after the incident, this cold CEO completely forgot all memories of him and maintained a totally distant attitude.
Captivating Character Design
The aspect that fascinates me the most is the extremely interesting character design. On the outside Ye Shanshan looks soft and pretty, but in essence, he is a genuine laboratory genius.
He possesses a superhuman memory along with a series of top-tier skills ranging from hacker, piano player, and gamer to sniper. His innocence yet extreme steadfastness in love gives him the determination to approach his lover once again.
Opposite him is Gong Yue, a domineering and capable CEO of a large corporation. Even though he has lost his memory, his instinct to love and pamper the other person gradually awakens before Ye Shanshan's proactive approach.
Background Secrets and Pacing
The plot does not merely revolve around romance but also intertwines the conspiracy behind the accident along with the special origins of the shou. The intervention from Gong Yue's grandmother and mother in the past when rescuing him from the laboratory adds depth to the work.
Compared to many urban Danmei novels of the same genre, the pacing is maintained at a very well-balanced tempo. Sweet comedic moments are reasonably interleaved with secret-uncovering details, never feeling tedious.
Praiseworthy Plus Points
- Sweet and charming interactions between a cute genius shou and an immensely pampering CEO gong.
- The journey to reconquer the lover minimizes frustrating misunderstandings for the readers to the utmost.
- The background twist and Ye Shanshan's special skills create many surprising situations.
- Sincere and steadfast affection makes the relationship of the two main characters very convincing.
Drawbacks to Consider
- The laboratory genius element taking on too many skills sometimes creates a slightly boastful feeling.
- The villain lineup and the conspiracies behind the accident have not been explored deeply enough.

Final Verdict for Readers
This is an extremely reasonable work for anyone looking for relaxing entertainment while still enjoying a bit of drama. The combination of amnesia and the character's special background will make it hard for you to look away.
