The Legend Returns

This novel kicks off the wild journey of Li Nanfang, a former sports shooting prodigy. Once dubbed the Young Butcher due to his dark past, he narrowly escapes death row when a top-secret military unit recruits him, offering a second chance at life.

He spends a grueling decade surviving the mysterious Nirvana Project. After completing this do-or-die training, he is finally allowed to return home. However, there's a catch: his every move is closely watched by a gorgeous female cop.

The Ultimate urban bodyguard

To start fresh, he revives his family's traditional bodyguard service. Under this guise, he takes on high-profile gigs protecting wealthy, beautiful heiresses. Naturally, this drags him straight into a web of dangerous underworld drama.

The modern urban setting is a cutthroat dog-eat-dog world of power struggles. But thanks to his elite military background, our badass bodyguard handles every threat with ease, quickly earning a legendary, god-tier reputation worldwide.

Deadly Skills and Gorgeous Babes

Li Nanfang's insane combat power stems from the elite military skills he forged during his ten-year survival training. He also packs brutally precise close-quarters martial arts skills, along with special abilities that give him god-like situational awareness, keeping him ten steps ahead of his enemies.

On top of the heart-pounding action, the harem aspect is a huge part of the story. A dazzling lineup of gorgeous women from all walks of life constantly gravitates toward him, leading to complex but super sweet romantic entanglements.

A Few Minor Cons

• The harem elements can feel a bit over-the-top at times, occasionally diluting the main military and action-focused plot.
• Some damsel-in-distress rescue tropes feel repetitive and might get a bit stale in the later chapters.
• The intense violence and mature themes might not be for everyone, especially if you prefer lighter reads.
