An Unexpected Broadcast Start
The story opens with Miyasaka Rui, a part-timer who is completely lost in life. He drifts through his days without any clear goals, with zero ambition or plans to pursue higher education.
His mundane and boring life takes a sudden turn when his childhood friend, Ayaka, invites him to make an appearance on her live livestream.
Ayaka is a streamer working as a VTuber. His accidental appearance turns the broadcast into a viral sensation, completely changing the trajectory of the protagonist's ordinary life.
Entering the Virtual World to Reclaim Youth
Following the massive viral success of that fateful stream, Miyasaka Rui decides to officially launch his own streamer career. He debuts under the virtual avatar Louis Astyca to interact with viewers.
His character is placed in the same group, Owen-gumi, as the character Ray Azriel, operated by Ayaka. Becoming a VTuber gives him a chance to reclaim his youth and the youthful joys he had previously missed out on.
Through his streams, he makes new friends in the VTuber community. He enjoys playing his favorite games, receiving plenty of compliments and playful banter from his chat.
Romance Blended with Cozy Vibes
Alongside the online streaming aspect, the romance between the two leads anchors the emotional weight of the story. Feelings between Miyasaka Rui and his friend Haneishi Ayaka gradually blossom as they spend their days together.
Ever since they were kids, Ayaka has always seen him as a kind and cool guy. This years-long mutual understanding serves as a springboard, allowing their romantic relationship to progress rapidly yet naturally.
The author crafts a distinct, healing atmosphere that radiates positive energy to the reader. All the real-life struggles of a drifting youth are slowly washed away by the joy of his passion and sincere human connections.
