A Different Kind of Reincarnation

The story opens with a familiar premise—reincarnating into an otome game—but it quickly adopts a much sharper tone. Following a sudden accident, our protagonist awakens as the princess Rosemary Von Velfalt. Rather than the adored heroine, she finds herself in the shoes of a love rival, a character destined for a tragic end.

The reality of this world is far darker than any player would imagine. Rosemary Von Velfalt soon discovers that the supposed male leads possess warped personalities and predatory instincts. Refusing to play along with these deviants, she decides to bypass the romance routes entirely and seek her own freedom.

The Princess's Resolve

The most compelling aspect of the narrative is the protagonist's grounded and clear-headed nature. Rosemary Von Velfalt is no fragile flower waiting for a savior. She is deeply committed to noblesse oblige, pouring her efforts into the prosperity of her kingdom and the well-being of her subjects.

Her sharp intellect allows her to navigate the treacherous waters of court politics with poise. Instead of fleeing from fate, she confronts it head-on, attempting to fix the instabilities of the male leads to prevent future bloodshed. Her steady hand makes for a very reliable and satisfying lead.

Deviating from the Script

While she ignores the toxic harem of the original game, Rosemary Von Velfalt finds a genuine connection with a quiet side character: Leonhard, the steadfast Commander of the Royal Knights. Their relationship is one built on mutual respect, admiration, and a deep, understated soul-level resonance.

However, the world refuses to stay predictable. Kidnappings and the looming threat of war constantly push the narrative off-course. With the support of the Royal Knights and her childhood companions, she finds the strength to persevere. Every step she takes is a calculated battle to shatter her own death flags.
