Unexpected Encounter at the Magic Tower

A short Danmei story dripping with Western fantasy vibes, wrapping up in just 16 chapters. It delivers hearty laughs and a cozy, heartwarming atmosphere right in the middle of a freezing winter!

Set on a secluded mountain as winter sets in, our protagonist Alphard notices an unusually high number of animal carcasses scattered around and sets off to investigate.

But upon returning to his Mage Tower, he gets blindsided by a "terrorist attack" from an intruder! This unexpected chaos totally turns his peaceful, quiet life upside down.

The culprit behind all this chaos is none other than Brand, a wild intruder who smashed right through a section of the tower just to crawl inside for shelter.

And just like that, a hilariously unexpected relationship kicks off! The collision between these two total opposites brings a never-ending stream of comical and awkward situations.

The Lonely Mage and the Wild Hybrid

The master of the tower is Alphard, a skinny, pale, and stoic necromancer. Underneath that frail exterior lies a powerful high-level undead mage who has mastered sixth-ring magic.

What makes him so fun is that while he's a master at dissecting corpses, he turns completely awkward and clueless when dealing with living creatures!

His lonely life previously revolved entirely around his research, with his only companion being a little bone dog serving as his mascot.

In stark contrast, Brand is a half-bear half-incubus hybrid with a massive, muscular build and a scruffy look. He sports black leathery wings and has an insanely sharp sense of smell when it comes to human scent.

He might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but Brand boasts immense physical strength and always acts on pure instinct and intense desires.

The arrival of this wild hybrid completely turns the mage's daily routine upside down. The dynamic between a frail, reclusive necromancer and a wild, bursting-with-vitality hybrid creates an irresistible charm!

Fast-Paced Storytelling and Witty Writing

The story execution is exceptionally concise and easy to read and remarkably fluid. With a limited chapter count, the story pacing moves fast without ever feeling overwhelming.

The author crafts comedic moments with immense charm and natural flow. Blending the gloomy vibe of necromancy with the burning enthusiasm of the hybrid strikes the perfect balance.

Interactions between the lead couple are portrayed with equal parts authenticity and adorable warmth. Readers will effortlessly get swept up in their chaotic yet sweet clashes.

Their romantic progression unfolds smoothly with every plot beat. Even without massive grand stakes, the story holds its unique, captivating charm.
